Breaking: London 2012 - Steve Onu (Yaw) Is An Olympic Touch Bearer

Isn't it nice to know that ace comedian Yaw made the cut for the Olympic Touch Bearing ceremony? Yea, he did! Olympic comes up this year in London, tagged London 2012 and Yaw has been selected as one of the Touch Bearers.

I'm excited about it. He won't share the news yet cos he doesn't want to till whenever.. who does that?.. If he doesn't want the gist out there, he prolly shouldn't have told me in 'confidence'. I don't do confidence even tho I'm supposed to be his personal person, the news must be shared. Wink

Besides, Linda Ikeji hears everything (she's not a popular gossip blogger for nothing).. and I don't want her to beat me to this :D

So guys, y'all should call in on Yaw's show tomorrow to congratulate him. This is great stuff , let's celebrate our own. More after the jump

What! Hey you African baboon, come smile for the camera, say cheeeeeeese! Good, one more time, this time a little more teeth, yes, just like the baboon you are. Perfect! So what he holds the olympic volcano? Does that address the massive poverty in your continent? You so called African elites make me sick right from the bottom of my stomach. Shame on you all. You are a disgrace to your ancestors.

It's so sad that even in this day and age, some people are so ignorant and envious of others that they cannot muster the effort to celebrate anyone who has achieved a feat they know they can in their lifetime never achieve,so they choose instead to spew out racist bile rather than keeping their unsolicited negative rants to themselves.
The Olympic committee bestowed the honour on those who are deserving of it, and whether anyone likes it or not, Yaw Onu was one of those who had the honour of doing his country Nigeria proud, by being a Torch Bearer at the 2012 London Olympics.
