Best and Worst Dressed at the Grammys

Source Yahoo Music: Check out the best and worst looks from the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, held at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Rihanna
Grade: A+
Rihanna took the plunge -- with her neckline that is -- at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night. The newly-blond singer heated up the red carpet in an extremely sexy black silk gown she designed herself along with Giorgio Armani. RiRi revealed that the dress was inspired by Michelle Pfeiffer in “Scarface.” On her feet? Christian Laboutin PVC accented pumps.

Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz
Grade: A

Arguably the best-looking couple of the night, Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beatz managed to perfectly meld funky with glam at the Grammys. While the R&B singer vamped it up in an Alexandre Vauthier Couture fitted LBD with padded shoulders and a very ornate gold choker, her producer-hubby dared to rock a purple velvet blazer and matching bow tie.

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose
Grade: B-

Between Wiz Khalifa's white-and-black tuxedo jacket, tats, and pot leaf necklace and Amber Rose's high-cut electric yellow Versace number and buzzed hair, the engaged couple was one to watch on the red carpet! How sweet was it that the model picked to wear a color to honor her beau’s Grammy-nominated rap performance, “Black and Yellow”?

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen
Grade: B+

Sure, the R&B singer looks pretty darn good in his brown suit and skinny tie, but we’d have to say his best accessory is his supermodel-fiancee, who heated up the red carpet in this high-cut dress.

Flo Rida
Grade: B

The “Good Feeling” rapper channeled James Bond on the red carpet in a dapper white tux and black bow tie. But all eyes were probably on his date, who was practically busting out of her formfitting dress.

Kelly Rowland
Grade: A

The former Destiny’s Child member gave the Grammys a touch of uber-glam in an Alberta Ferretti gown embellished with a silver appliqué on the bodice. For an added touch of sparkle, Rowland accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels on her ears and fingers.

Nicki Minaj
Grade: F
Holy heck! What was the rapper thinking when she stepped onto the red carpet in a hooded Versace cape embellished with the label’s Medusa head ... escorted by a Pope look-alike? Ms. Minaj is known for her wacky sense of style, but surely the fashion gods were angry about this particular getup.

Fergie
Grade: C-

We see London, we see France! The Black Eyed Peas singer gave everyone a peek at her black bra and panties thanks to her neon orange lace Jean Paul Gaultier Couture gown. We give her credit for pushing the envelope with the see-through number, but the Halloween color scheme was downright frightening.

Adele
Grade: A

The queen of the Grammys, who won a whopping six awards, hit a high note in a sequined black Armani gown with three-quarter sleeves and Harry Winston jewels. Adele also strayed from her usual 60s-style bouffant and instead opted to sport a sleek strawberry blond ‘do and bright-red lips, which really perfected the entire look.

Katy Perry
Grade: D

Why so blue? Katy Perry matched her Elie Saab Couture gown to her post-Russell Brand hair color. But that wasn’t the Grammy nominee's only faux pas. The pop star traded in her usual sexy style for a look better suited for a grandma -- not a newly-single woman. Even $2 million worth of Norman Silverman jewels couldn't save this ensemble!

Taraji P. Henson
Grade: C+

The “Person of Interest” star strutted her stuff in a sequined pink-and-leopard print halter gown by Basler, which featured a plunging neckline. Despite the animal print, we’re not wild about this dress.

Paris Hilton
Grade: A
Surprisingly, the hotel heiress looked quite sophisticated and chic in her beaded white-and-gold Basil Soda gown. Well done, Paris!

Diana Ross
Grade: B

The legendary diva -- who won a Lifetime Achievement Award -- jazzed up her pantsuit with blinged-out cuffs and a sparkly broach.

Rick Ross
Grade: D+
The rapper reminded us a little bit of Bert and Ernie in his colorful striped velour shirt.

Sasha Gradiva
Grade: F

While most folks didn’t know the Russian electronic artist when she hit the red carpet in her fitted pink gown, everyone was buzzing about Sasha Gradiva after she walked by thanks to her, um, interesting accessory: a “Terminator”-like machine gun arm. Though she claimed she was making a statement against war, next time she should leave her weapons at home!
