Adele to Get $1.6m From New Plus-Size Dating Site

Well, that's the gist but she has to agree to do something first.. and that is, being the celebrity spokesperson for the new dating site. The site was founded by Whitney Thompson, the first plus-sized winner of the modelling competition show ‘America’s Next
Top Model’. She is also the president of the site.

‘Adele is a ridiculously talented bombshell’, Thompson says. ‘I would be proud to work alongside her to continue to show the world what curvy girls are made of. 

The idea is to bring Adele onboard as a spokesperson to show plus-sized women that having
voluptuous curves can be fab and most importantly to downplay negative stereotypes about plus sized women.

‘The Big and the Beautiful’, a site created for ‘women with curves and the men who love them,’ has offered the ‘Rolling in the deep’ singer a whopping $1.6 million to participate in their 2012 ad campaigns. You'll recall that Adele’s sophomore album, 21 earned her six awards at this year's Grammys, she also picked up two awards at the recently held Brit Awards.
