The 2nd edition of the YOUTH-MARKETER CONVERGE CONFERENCE (YMC 2.0) will hold on Tuesday, 27th March 2012, with Jimmy Wales, Founder /CEO of online encyclopedia giant - WIKIPEDIA, delivering the Keynote Address.According to a statement made available to Brandcrunch, the event which holds at the Grand Ballroom Eko Hotel, Victoria Island has other confirmed speakers which include Lanre Aina - Google Nigeria, Mike Saunders - Digitlab South Africa, Lola Talabi-Oni - Brent Consulting, Japheth Omojuwa - Omojuwa.com and Chiekezi Dozie – Persnickety. Still on the list are found Bisi Awoyomi - L.E.A.R.N, Enyioma Anaba – Interswitch and Tolu Ogunlesi - British Council.
Plenary sessions will be chaired by marketing gurus such as Yinka Akande, Dg M.A.N, Iquo Ukoh of Nestle, Dola Bambgoye of MTN, and Youth Marketing specialist Temi de Medeiros of Youth Dynamix Nigeria.
The Conference proper will be followed on Wednesday 28th March, by YMC Interactive - an exciting interaction between 50 Brand and Marketing Managers, and 1000 youths with the theme : "Show Me Your Brand And I Will tell you Who You Are"
The Interactive session holds at the Indoor Sports Hall, Rowe Park, Yaba with Colin Morris, Executive Director, Creative at Lowe Lintas as Guest Speaker while Yinka Aderoju (CEO Market Knowledge & Insights) and Adebola Williams (Red Media Group) will serve as moderators.
Speaking on the forth coming conference, Funke Babatola, CEO, FBI Initiative says this is a double-barreled Mega Youth Marketing event that presents a unique opportunity to further showcase, project and elevate the profile of various brands among the Nigerian youth populace.
