Cover Competition: Waje Set To Make A Lucky Graphic Artist $1000 Richer

Waje is set to make a lucky fan winner of $1000.. Curious? Well, the songstress has just announced a competition for the design of  the cover of her upcoming album, yea, yea, this's for the graphic designers..  What you have to do? Come up with a creative design for the album cover.. Simples. Pictures of Waje will be posted on

her Facebook fan page and various blogs.

WAJE and 2 renowned creative professionals – Rotimi Okhioroya and Sewedo Nupowaku will assess the submissions and reward points based on Creativity, Originality, and Precision of design. More details after the jump


ENTRY PROCEDURE

1. Sample pictures of WAJE as well as a mock playlist will be put up on her Facebook page and various blogs.

2. Designers use the pictures and playlist to design front and back jackets respectively.

3. All entries are to be sent by email to art4waje@gmail.com

4. Each designer can submit only 3 design options.

5. All entries must be in any of the following formats – jpg, pdf or png

6. Each designer has to put their full name,email address and phone number into each entry.

7. Winners will be announced via Facebook,Twitter and Waje's official website.

SCHEDULE:

Competition begins on the March 10th , 2012

Phase 1 Submission ends on the March 18th, 2012.

Phase 1 winners will be announced on the March 20th  2012 and phase 2 begins immediately.

Phase 2 submission ends on the March  25th, 2012.

Phase 2 winners will be announced on the March 27th, 2012 and phase 3 which is the final begins immediately.

Phase 3 submission ends on the April 1st,  2012.

Final winners will be announced on the April 3rd, 2012.
