Nigerian Models Boycott Arise Africa Fashion Week Over Low Pay And Alleged Discrimination

Some Nigerian models who were billed to hit the runway at the Arise Africa Fashion Week decided to stage a walk out on the event, this was a s a result of discrimination over pay they were going to receive which when compared to the amount their foreign counterparts will receive from the organizers of the same event is but peanuts. Its been reported that the Nigerian models would earn twenty five thousand Naira only per day for strutting the runway while the international models will earn an undisclosed large sum of money..I can like to guess :D.. this the models frowned at and decided they were going to have none of it as what is sauce for the goose is also sauce for the gander they chanted.. Well, can't blame them..

The protest has led to the postponement of the show for 2days, the Arise Africa Fashion Week which was set to begin Tuesday March 6th is now scheduled to take off tomorrow Thursday March 8th.. Well, well, well abi?
