Major-General Tunde Idiagbon Remembered, 13yrs After

Facebook Extact - The labor of our heroes past shall never be in vain! Major-General Tunde Idiagbon, you've been gone for 13 years but we do not forget your patriotism, discipline and fight against corruption. We remember you not for the wealth you didn't amass nor the private jets you didn't own; not for the awards you were given nor the public funds you didn't embezzle but for your sense of patriotism and belief that with hardwork, discipline and zero-tolerance for corruption this nation can be great.

"Those that felt that Buhari and Idiagbon were too “harsh” for imprisoning corrupt public officials, executing convicted drug dealers and armed robbers,

should ask themselves whether they are proud of the fact that the average European cannot point out Nigeria’s location on a map, does not know its capital city, but “knows” that Nigeria is a country where corrupt people, drug dealers and other criminals come from. Those that criticised the 'War Against Indiscipline' for attempting to militarise civilian society need to ask themselves whether they prefer the undisciplined, corruption infested society that is Nigeria in 2003. Nigeria missed a golden opportunity to change for the better." - Max Siollun

"Within just One and Half year, the regime in which Tunde Idiagbon was given a free hand to change the way we think, got Nigerians to appreciate, perhaps for the first time, the meaning of discipline and honesty in the polity through the War Against Indiscipline campaign. He was able to instill discipline making for orderly queuing, environmental sanitation, appropriate market price for goods and pride in our nation through campaigns on Nationalism and patriotism." - Yushau A. Shuaib
