Personality of the Day: Shoggy Tosh


Meet Shoggy Tosh, Nigerian making the fatherland proud in the UK. He's a force to reckon with in UK's Gospel community and the country's entertainment space. Skip several years of his life after college, he resigned from his circular job as a manager at one of the biggest retail chains in the world - TESCO just 5 years ago
in line with his dad's teaching - Rev. Tim Omotoso who advised him to
pursue a career in the media. It is here that he has found alot of passion to do what he enjoys doing. Shoggy Tosh studied Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Engineering & Engineering Product Design, but - in his own words - could not make himself pursue work in these fields.

TOSH Mag debuted full time December of 2009 and now it's blossomed into TOSH Mag TV, TOSH PR, 'Nigeria Player of the Month & Year Awards' and so much more. In only 18 months, Shogy Tosh has won 8 awards, they are:
*Heart of Gold, TESCO Elmers end. Kent. United Kingdom.
*Best Magazine - TOSH Mag at 2011 National Gospel Awards
*Best TV - TOSH Mag TV in collaboration with Femi BestTouch at 2011 National Gospel Awards
*Best TV Show - TOSH Mag TV in collaboration with Femi BestTouch at 2010 Beffta Awards
*Best TV Presenter - Shoggy Tosh at 2010 Beffta Awards
*Best Magazine - TOSH Mag at 2010 Euro & Afro Awards, Alicante. Spain
*Best TV Show - TOSH Mag TV in collaboration with Femi BestTouch at 2010 Euro & Afro Awards, Alicante. Spain
*Best TV Presenter / Host (Special Category) at 2011 Gospel Music Awards, Ireland.

    I've known Shoggy Tosh from secondary school days when you used to eat Adalu epo together. Always keeps a smile on his face irrespective of what he is going through. Such a delight to know and a shinning star. May God bless you indeed. Thank you Miss Adesokan for a job well done.
